Authentic Community Engagement

This three-part workshop series guides participants through a transformative journey toward authentic community engagement grounded in principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ).

Participants will build a shared understanding of effective engagement practices, explore how inequity manifests in community work, and examine real-world scenarios through collaborative dialogue.

The series creates space for critical reflection on current practices while making meaningful connections between past experiences and new learnings.

Through interactive sessions, participants will move from learning to action by mapping changes that better align their work with DEIJ principles and authentic engagement.

The workshop series emphasizes practical application, culminating in personalized action steps and commitments tailored to each participant's unique context. By the end, participants will have both the conceptual framework and concrete strategies needed to integrate authentic community engagement practices into their ongoing work.
